IN CASE YOU MISSED IT :
I’ve never really watched The Daily Show with Jon Stewart or John Oliver or Trevor Noah, but know they tackle serious topics with some contemporary outrage, dark humor and …..well what some would consider to be “foul language.” I do think facts are presented.
Amazing to watch John Oliver tackle issues like care needs of the elderly, unpaid caregivers in homes, and nursing home issues. He cites some factoid that 80% of long term care is already given at home in the US…but first he shows off nursing homes for the super wealthy.
Near the end, he discusses how state Medicaid might be used to help people at home and their caregivers, and cites the state of WA. I confess….I skipped through most of it.

I usually watch music videos on YouTube, from jazz to Yuja Wang playing Prokofiev or Ravel to my favorite cover band Pomplamoose, but this somehow popped up in my “algorithm”. Might be interesting for those trying to have an IMPACT or produce BOLD changes (nudge nudge).
